[Solved]Assumed graphics card problem

Post by christophe60fr »

Hello,

FuryBSD-12.0-XFCE-11-09-2019-02.
The loading of the ISO ends on a frozen black screen.
A chance that my old graphics card (AMD / ATI Caicos Radeon HD 6450) will one day be recognized?
thank you so much

Well, by the way, I answer to myself, since the subject doesn't seem to move the crowds :) .
I hope this solution can serve as a lead ...
1) pkg install drm-legacy-kmod (in my case, especially not drm-kmod which freezes the system)
2) sysrc kld_list+="/boot/modules/radeonkms.ko"
3) kldload /boot/modules/radeonkms.ko
4) reboot
That's all.
